About this car
The original Range Rover. The car that invented the luxury 4×4.
Launched in 1970 with a Buick-derived 3.5L V8, coil springs and permanent four-wheel drive, it could do 100mph on the motorway and cross a river the same afternoon.
This is a very early two-door example, registered in the first couple of years of production.

Works as a current car for anything set in the 70s or early 80s. The two-door is the original shape (before Range Rover went fully upmarket with four doors in ’81).
Suits country estates, farmyards, safari parks, embassies, or anywhere rugged money lives. Also the definitive “pulled over on a muddy verge” car.
In anything set after the mid-80s, it reads as a well-used older vehicle (the farmer’s runabout, or the estate workhorse).
